3. Sometimes I Feel Awful (Kids Have Feelings, Too) (1993). For ages 3-8. Helpful for teaching young children the difference between feelings and actions. What makes this book about kids' feelings stand out from other similar books is that it runs through a variety of situations where the little girl in the book could have used her words, but didn't, and what the effect was on the situation. Recommended in CWWA Training:
4. What Feelings do you Feel? (2012). For ages 3-6. Told in rhyming verse, this book helps children distinguish their own feelings from the feelings of other children and adults.


8. What is a Feeling? (2014). For K-6. Ways in which children can develop emotional awareness in order to better express themselves without harming themselves or others.
