Legal Resources for BC Anti-Violence Front Line Workers

The BCSTH Legal Toolkit: General Information About Legal Issues and Court Matters in British Columbia (April 2016) can be found on the BCSTH website under Resources > Publications. A hard copy has been mailed to each BCSTH member organization, and updates can be added to the binder when new information becomes available.

"The toolkit is designed to be used as an overview of key legal issues and the individual information sheets also can be used as stand-alone resources and training tools for front line workers."
Use the toolkit to find information on these topics:
  • OVERVIEW OF COURTS & LEGAL RESOURCES
  • OVERVIEW OF COURT RELATED ISSUES
  • PROGRAM PARTICIPANT’S RECORDS
  • RECORDS MANAGEMENT
  • RECORDS RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION
  • IMMIGRANT & REFUGEE LEGAL INFORMATION
  • DISABILITY LEGAL INFORMATION
